STUDENT CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES 2012-13
| Academic Challenge | Provides the opportunity to compete against students from other Peninsula District Schools testing knowledge of facts, events, and people. |
| Art Club | Provides open studio to students who would like extra assistance or darkroom time. Functions as a group which contributes to the visual aspect of the other art magnets. |
| Band | Creates an appreciation for the field of music. |
| Bowling | Participates in bowling in a professional manner in a team sport setting- To compete against other schools. |
| Character Counts | Provides students information and activities related to development of character traits. |
| Chess Club | Provides instruction and opportunity to play chess. |
| Chorus | Creates an appreciation for vocal music and to perform for the school and the community. |
| Debate | Promotes the ability to participate in organized and competitive debate and drama events. |
| DECA | Develops leaders for marketing, management and entrepreneurship. |
| Drama | Provide opportunities for students to participate in the theatrical arts and to develop leadership skills and a sense of community. |
| FCCLA (Family, Career, Community Leaders of America) | Co-curricular student organization with family focus fostering development of interpersonal, family, leadership, career goals and skills. |
| FEA (Future Educators of America) | Introduces students to educational practices of teachers. |
| French Club | Explores the different aspects of French culture to include their language, foods, customs and leisure activities. |
| Freshman Class | Creates school spirit and coordinate activities for the 9th Grade class. |
| FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) | Develop competent, aggressive business leadership; to strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work. |
| German Club | Explore different aspects of German culture including language, foods, customs and leisure activities. |
| Junior Class | Create spirit and coordinate activities for the Junior Class. |
| Key Club | Encourages students to provide service to home, school and community . |
| Model U.N. | Fosters international awareness and public speaking skills through participation in mock United Nations sessions. |
| Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honorary) | An honorary organization designed to promote interest and enthusiasm for mathematics students with a math grade point average of at least 3.0. |
| National Honor Society | An honorary organization with membership, criteria, including a grade point average of at least 3.2, active leadership in three clubs/activities, and strong character (11th, 12th graders). |

| Patriot Press-Newspaper | Use interviewing and writing skills to produce a newspaper. |
| Photography Club | Teaches photography skills. |
| SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) | Encourage students to lead a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. |
| SCA (Student Council Association) | Promotes school spirit and student involvement in school activities and the community. |
| Senior Class | Coordinates and assist with activities in the Senior Class- All Seniors are welcome.. |
| Sophomore Class | Encourages leadership, team work, and unity while imparting valuable social and organizational skills. |
| Spanish Club | Promotes interest in the Spanish language and culture. |
| Student 2 Student | Trains and provides student mentors for new students. |
| Teens Against Violence | Introduces students to conflict resolution methods for themselves and other students. |
| Yearbook | Produces the yearbook, students must be enrolled in photojournalism classes. |
